The LEGO Concorde Is Here!

The wait is over, the LEGO Icons Concorde is finally here! In a brilliant endeavor to recapture the spirit of air travel’s golden age, LEGO takes a significant step with the launch of its new Icons addition, the Concorde. The majestic supersonic airliner, which reigned the skies with an unrivaled blend of speed and luxury, now finds itself meticulously recreated in our favorite injection tooled plastic blocks.

The Makers & Mavens team has put in their order and we’re beyond thrilled to get our hands on this set. As a child of the 80’s and a fan of anything with an engine, it was always a dream of mine to visit our local airport, ORD, and try to catch a glimpse of the Concorde. Unfortunately, we were never lucky enough. Thanks to the kind people at LEGO, we can part ways with a couple hundred bucks and live out a childhood dream. With its distinctive droop-nose and sleek aerodynamic design, the Concorde has held a revered place in aviation history and my heart. This set promises not only an immersive building experience but a chance to hold a piece of legendary aviation history in our hands. With a piece count sitting at 2083, it’s going to be a fun build.
